His Mind, Her Push, One Melody

Music became my remedy when I was mentally sick
Forcing me to stand and never drag my soul

Grasp tight on the cold-
Metal and clear my throat.
Visualize this sequence in rhythm:
She knows talent sleeps dormant within him.
One scrap notebook, a pen, with some thoughts-
He was naturally born, meant to be taught.
Lyrics evolved
Soon became
"sick"
like in bed with a cough.

Faith-
Was lost
Realized, the beat had never died
Because above these beautiful eyes
She wears an angel-fitted halo.

13 Ways Of Lookin' at Depression...

Innocence, tragedies come
Lives taken, before goodbye is mentioned…

Stained, ripped, drenched in misery
Disbelief will never leave your side
As if it became your shadow buried behind your eyes…

Faint echoes still jolt you
Sweaty palms, so cautious…

Broken depths where none should go
Alone and lost under that stone…

Seize and capture
Before all is gone
Non existent…

Cold hearts, create visions
Fiction or non fiction
Perhaps a dedication
To the picture you painted…

Eject wisdom at all degrees
Corruption taints the soul
Pressure the mind, don’t tear the heart…

Death becomes the twin of life
You see your reflection fade
As the puddle splashes and the ripples dissolve…

Designed to be the supreme
Until failure sets into your presence
Become entrapped as you try and escape…

Distinction of fear reaps upon your broken figure
Cleanse your soul as it sets in
Down, out, and dreading the moments…

Try and grasp the light as all vanishes
Hope is easily lost and
His head hangs to the ground…

Can you hear his movement?
Sudden sorrow, provides affliction
Causing heartaches…

It’s catastrophic when you peer at his grave
Marked REST IN PEACE but,
What does it really say?
Real Innocent People
Died before that day…

Are you to hard to be real?

You don't have to forget to believe
because your doubt makes it seem unreal.
My fist confide all secrets
with the stories that can only be told through
silence.
Teach what is known learn what is not.
I control my life because i only have one.

Fade...[a hospital room]

The grueling anarchy of illness.
leaves you lying vulnerable.
The perfect eclipse of the doctor's head
under the floating revolution of the light.
With a gesture, an effort is made to push your eyelids apart
but you spiral under the faithful amnesia.

Spinnin' (5 minute think up)

They aknowledge my skin color
Before they read my work.
Just because I'm white
Creating music is a sin?
If I wrote poetry
Would I still be mocked?
These questions spin through my head
like the hands on the clock.
